Tips For Taking Your Pet To The Pet Hospital For An Emergency

Some veterinary care you can plan for — like vaccines and dental cleanings. Other veterinary care you can't plan for — like an emergency surgery to remove the sock your dog swallowed. When you do find your pet in need of emergency vet care, it's important that you're able to remain calm, collected, and rational so that you can act in the best interest of your pet. It's a lot easier to stay calm when you know what to do. Read More

Three Things To Do When Choosing A Vet Hospital

Veterinarian hospitals are similar to vet clinics. Like vet clinics, vet hospitals are staffed by veterinarians and vet techs who strive to care for animals. However, vet hospitals often offer more extensive services. Some people choose to utilize a vet hospital for their pet's primary care needs. Here are three things you should do when choosing a vet hospital for your pet: 1. Learn the hours of your vet hospital of choice. Read More

Keep Your New Bulldog Puppy Safe from Fall Dangers

Autumn weather has arrived and so has your new English bulldog puppy. The cooler fall days are perfect for playing and getting to know your new little friend and letting them get acquainted with their new environment. And although autumn brings lots to be thankful for and look forward to, it also brings some seasonal threats to your pets' health. People are winterizing their yards, garages, and cars, leaving lots of harmful substances around for curious pups to get into, and the celebrations and get-togethers that are just around the corner are a concern for a new puppy, as well as other pets in your home. About Me

Pet Care Tips for Pet Owners Young and Old

I loved animals when I was growing up, and my first pet was a hamster. I loved waking up in the middle of the night just to watch him run on his wheel! Once I proved to my parents that I could care for him well, they then allowed me to get a dog who I also loved. When I moved out of the house as an adult, I also adopted a cat, a pet rat, and an iguana. I enjoy researching animal care before I adopt new pets and putting what I learn into action. However, one thing I also love is teaching new pet owners how to care for their animals. I decided to create a blog to share my pet care tips with everyone who needs a little extra help learning how to care for their animal companions!
